Taj Hotels to launch app for ordering food from its restaurants. While the cases related to corona virus are on the rise the hospitality industry which is reeling under the pandemic effect has been innovative. On this Thursday, the Tata groups Indian Hotels Company Ltd owning Taj Hotels has launched their new online food delivery portal called Qmin for the benefit of their regular guest who would visit various Hotel restaurants to enjoy their specialities and mouth-watering delicacies. Food lovers flocking these restaurants can now order food conveniently sitting in the safety and comfort of their home. The 8 different restaurants in Mumbai namely Golden Dragon and Souk from Taj Mahal Palace; Thai Pavilion and Trattoria from President; and Ming Yang from Taj Lands End are some of the restaurants from where the customers can order food using this app. The launch will cater to top 10 markets in India which includes Delhi, Chennai and Bengaluru among others for over a period of 5 weeks. The hotel plans to introduce the mobile app Qmin on 25th of July. The app would facilitate contact-less delivery and the necessary use of safeguarding apparatus for the delivery men in disinfected vehicles. Food packaging would also be kept eco-friendly. The Qmin Mobile application will soon be launched in other cities too. The gourmet Qmin Shop would also be opened soon this August subsequent to which the Taj's loyalty program will be integrated to the same in September where in the guests will get an opportunity of acquiring or consuming their points. For the elite, this would be an unprecedented blessing as it would bring in a new way of life for the connoisseurs of high-end food provided the hotel can bring in a similar experience and taste which the guests are accustomed to while dinning in the hotel.
